Human Formation

Fostering psychological maturity, emotional balance, and healthy relationships, preparing men who can relate authentically with people from all walks of life.

Human Formation

Human formation addresses the psychological, emotional, and relational dimensions of priestly preparation. We believe that priests must be well-integrated human persons who can relate authentically with people of all backgrounds and circumstances.

Our program includes formation in self-knowledge, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and leadership development. Seminarians participate in community living experiences that teach them patience, understanding, and fraternal charity.

We provide guidance in developing healthy friendships, managing stress, and maintaining appropriate boundaries in ministry. Special attention is given to forming priests who are approachable, compassionate, and emotionally mature.

The human formation program includes cultural education, helping seminarians appreciate the diverse backgrounds of the people they will serve. Sports, recreation, and artistic activities contribute to balanced human development.

Regular counseling and psychological evaluation ensure that seminarians are developing the emotional and psychological maturity necessary for celibate priestly life and effective pastoral ministry.
